Petersburg police are seeking a fourth suspect in connection with the shooting death of a Petersburg man on Sunday, police said.

A warrant for Donnell A. Green, 18, was obtained yesterday, said police spokeswoman Esther Hyatt. Police said Donnell Green is believed to be related to two other suspects, Anthony Lorenzo "Amp" Green and Kevin Correll Green.

Three people have been arrested in the slaying of 21-year-old Wallace Wesson Jr., police said. Anthony Green, 19, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder and felony use of a firearm, police said. Kevin Green, 23, and Shawntelle Jones, 29, were arrested on Tuesday, Hyatt said.

Kevin Green was arrested on the same charges as his cousin, Anthony Green, police said. Donnell Green has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Jones was charged with being an accessory after the fact, a misdemeanor.

The suspects were arrested without incident, Hyatt said.

Wesson was shot at least once in the torso and died outside his home near Sixth and Accomack streets. Police were called to the scene Sunday about 11:45 p.m. The shooting aroused emotions from the neighborhood, when dozens of people charged through police lines and swarmed the street near the crime scene.

"Crime Solvers was very helpful in gathering information that led to the arrests," Hyatt said.
