Petersburg police are seeking a fourth suspect in connection with the death of a Petersburg man on Sunday, police said.

A warrant for Donnell A. Green, 18, was obtained today, said police spokeswoman Esther Hyatt. He has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Three people are already in custody in connection with the shooting death of Wallace Wesson Jr., police said.

Anthony Lorenzo "Amp" Green, 19, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder and felony use of a firearm, police said. Kevin Correll Green, 23, and Shawntelle Jones, 29, were arrested yesterday, Hyatt said. Kevin Green also is charged with first-degree murder and felony use of a firearm, Hyatt said.

Police said Donnell Green is believed to be related to Anthony Green and Kevin Green.

Jones is charged with a misdemeanor count of being an accessory after the fact.

The three suspects were arrested without incident, Hyatt said.

Wesson was shot at least once in the torso and died outside his home near Sixth and Accomack streets. Police were called to the scene Sunday about 11:45 p.m. The shooting aroused emotions in the neighborhood, where dozens of people charged through police lines and swarmed the street near the crime scene.

"Crime Solvers was very helpful in gathering information that led to the arrests," Hyatt said.
