Significant Events:
Fire: 2028 Accommodation St., heavy damage to one apartment, smoke and heat damage to several others. Numerous residents displaced; accidental.
Fire: 2400 Cary St., fire in first-floor apartment, water damage to other apartments; accidental.
Fire: 2203 Afton Ave., electrical fire in exhaust fan; minimal damage.
CHESTERFIELD
Fire Calls: 245 Emergency Medical Calls: 430
Significant Events:
Fire: 9600 block of Brandywine Drive, structure fire in single-family home. Heavy damage; accidental.
Fire: 7000 block of Egan Place, fire on the rear deck of a vacant single-family home; under investigation.
Fire: 20800 block of Riverterrace Road, oven fire; minor smoke conditions.
HENRICO
Significant Events:
Brush fire: on Brook Road, approximately 4 to 5 acres, light brush and woods. No injuries; under investigation.
Fire: Tahoe Court, outside detached shed. Moderate smoke and fire damage to structure. Accidental with no injuries.
HANOVER
Fire Calls: 167 Emergency Medical Calls: 196 EMS: Cardiac arrests (2), diabetic emergencies (3), choking (1).
Significant Events:
Fire: 9242 Pamunkey River Farms Drive, lightning strike.
Fire: 8265 Patrick Henry Blvd., furnace.
