RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond police today are investigating the robbery of a West Broad Street insurance agency.
A man about 5-feet-8 carrying a handgun and wearing gloves came into the DiServio and Sobrito Insurance Agency in the 2700 block of West Broad about 5:15 p.m. yesterday and demanded money. He left with an undetermined amount of cash and fled east on Broad on a black mountain bike. Police said a canine search was immediately conducted in the area.
There were no shots fired or injuries in the robbery, police said.

WHAT IDIOT WILL ROB AN INSURANCE AGENCY??
For your knowledge, some auto insurance agents accept premiums from their clients on behalf of their Insurance companies. My agent’s office was burglarized few months back. Many policy holders pay cash and I suspect this roberer had a knowledge of some policy holder’s recent payment. Police will certainly look into policy holders’ aquaintances to catch this guy. I wish police the success.
It doesn’t matter which race. My argument stands in defence of all races; unless you had a particular race in mind when you made your comment, sir.

What race would that be?
You may call me sir if you like.
WHAT IDIOT WILL ROB AN INSURANCE AGENCY??
lakotahope, your argument holds no weight. There have been plenty of articles where race was included in the description. Plenty of articles where they’ve shown a picture of the accused.
You see an article which doesn’t include race and you immediately jump to assumptions of political correctness. Because I don’t believe you considered any other scenarios, I stand by my original conclusion. You sir/ma’am are a race baiter!

I saw that about not knowing about the ACLU and I do, but you are right in mentioning it. I intended to write the acronym NAACP, instead…oh well, thanks for the update and I do hate to make mistakes if I know better….

“If the police have a clue” What does that have to do with the fact that “a male” is the only description that doesn’t provide information in and of itself.
As for race baiter—I like that, however to disappoint you, nope. Just nobly making a strategic point about this issue as it is too touchy to even mention any longer in polite society. Although we see with our eyes, we are told we are blind.
lakotahope, stop race baiting. There have been plenty of articles when the race is mentioned. Maybe, just maybe, the police have a clue of who the guy is and doesn’t want to tip the guy off. Maybe they want the guy to think they don’t know who he is. Maybe he was wearing a ski mask in addition to his gloves. Maybe the police aren’t releasing information as yet. Maybe the clerk was too busy fearfully staring at his gloved gun hand to catch his race. Maybe there’s only one clerk and the guy came up behind them.
Maybe you’re a race baiter who trolls the RTD looking for reasons to mention race.
You have no idea what the ACLU actually does.
Humans come in all flavors—I think we can acknowledge this! If police need our help in crime solving and crime prevention, why do they not release the race of the perpetrators? Easier to say and find, ‘one white male, 5 8”, Hitler mustache on black mountain bike’. May it be that mentioning anything about a race of people constitutes an assault from the coveted, magnificent ACLU and its king of VA.
