OFFICES -- Closed today.

POSTAL SERVICE -- Closed today; no delivery.

STATE GOVERNMENT

OFFICES -- Closed today.

RICHMOND AREA

COUNTY, CITY OFFICES -- Closed today.

COLLEGES -- VCU, VSU, VUU, J. Sargeant Reynolds, John Tyler and Randolph-Macon closed today. UR administrative offices closed today. Some MBA and Law School classes will be in session. All other UR classes will not be in session.

SCHOOLS -- Closed today.

COURTS -- Closed today.

DMV -- Customer-service centers closed today.

LIBRARIES -- Closed today.

TRASH -- No collections in Richmond and Henrico today. Collections a day late for rest of the week. Transfer stations and landfills open except for Chesterfield, Goochland and Powhatan. No Central Virginia Waste Management pickups today. Pickups a day late for rest of week.

RECYCLING --No curbside recycling today. Pickups a day late for rest of the week.

TRANSPORTATION

TRAFFIC -- Today, city parking meters, time-zone signs and peak-time travel lanes will not be enforced.

GRTC -- Today, buses will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.

BUSINESS / COMMERCE

STOCK MARKET -- Closed today.

BANKS -- Closed today.

ABC STORES -- Open.

MAJOR MALLS -- Open.

TIMES-DISPATCH -- Will be delivered.

Thank you, RTD. This was quite helpful. I was surprised to find it wasn’t a listing of events for Decoration/Memorial Day. My family, including myself, has served and has many graves which to attend. However, my fellow citizens might want to know where to go to pay their respects.
