The Richmond region may see flurries for the second time this week.

There's a 20 percent chance of snow in Richmond, according to the National Weather Service's office in Wakefield.

But head south and those chances increase: Petersburg and surrounding counties have a 40 percent chance of snow today. At 5 a.m. today, there were reports of scattered snowfall in Dinwiddie County.

In far south Virginia near the North Carolina line, there's a 60 percent chance of snow.

Most of today's regional snowfall is expected before the afternoon.

Highs for Richmond today and tomorrow are expected to be in the low 40s, with highs reaching almost 50 on Sunday.
