Barge strikes Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, causing minor damage

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel suffered minor damage when it was hit by a barge.

Spokeswoman Debbie Cooley said one barge hit the bridge-tunnel’s middle trestle at 6:20 a.m. Monday. No injuries were reported.

Authorities had said earlier that two barges hit the bridge-tunnel.

Several southbound lanes were closed while crews assessed the damage, causing a 2.5-mile traffic backup. Cooley says all lanes have reopened.

The bridge-tunnel connects Virginia’s Eastern Shore with the mainland at Virginia Beach.

No no people.  Get it straight it was Bush’s fault and he will be KO’s Worst person in the world.  200 years into the future, if a tree falls on a house, it will still be Bush’s fault.

Did anyone catch Barack walking down the Volga?
