VIRGINIA BEACH — Federal agents say they have cracked a 10-year, $33 million cocaine distribution ring in Virginia Beach.

The Drug Enforcement Administration said Wednesday that four people have been arrested. Two are charged with leading the drug conspiracy and two others are charged with laundering proceeds from the sales of crack and cocaine.

Officials say more than 1.5 tons of cocaine and crack were distributed throughout the region. The drug ring centered around several nightclubs. The DEA with local police used a number of informants to gather evidence against the ring.
