A missing Virginia Tech student has been found.
10 On Your Side talked to Marie Drescher’s father, Tom, over the phone.
He tells us Marie called them from a rest stop on Interstate 81 in Harrisonburg, and they picked her up early Sunday morning. Tom tells us they had not talked to her yet about what happened, and how she ended up in Harrisonburg, instead of back in Blacksburg.
Blacksburg Police sent out a news release late Saturday night, asking for the public’s help to find Marie.

She knew she should have taken that left turn at Albequerque.
According to other news sources, she was found early this morning (Sunday). No further information is available.
After locating Elicott City and Knoxville, MD on a map, I see the direction of travel seems to make sense… Towards I-81 which seems logical. I wonder if that was her usual route?
If someone stole her credit card, they couldn’t have used it if the store clerk asked for ID!!! NO ONE ASKS FOR ID ANYMORE, EVEN WHEN IT’S WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF THE CARD TO ASK FOR PICTURE ID, THEY JUST LOOK AT IT & IGNORE IT!!!!!! God I hope they find this young lady!!!!
