Timothy M. Kaine continues juggling his duties as Virginia governor and chairman of the Democratic National Committee, spending all or part of 10 days out of state in November.

Kaine's office today released an overview of his travel last month. Kaine, selected as head of the DNC by President Barack Obama, has provided the monthly snapshots since August.

Of the 10 days that Kaine was outside Virginia, five were spent in Washington, D.C. It's not clear whether he was there on public or political business.

Among the departing governor's other out-of-state destinations: New York City, Baltimore, Md., Memphis, Tenn., Little Rock, Ark., and Arlington, Texas.

However, Kaine also was in Richmond every day in November, except Nov. 1, when -- in the finale to the election -- he traveled to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News and Roanoke.
