McDonnell said he will focus on the new for new jobs and more opportunities in Virginia and nationwide.

The choice of McDonnell gives him national visibility in the same week that Obama is coming to Virginia to stump for McDonnell's Democratic opponent, Creigh Deeds. Obama will appear with Deeds at a rally in McLean tomorrow evening.

Another great opportunity for him to discuss all things not Virginia!  Is he running for Governor in 2009 or Senator in 2010?

Perhaps he could plug the 183,000 jobs Rep Cantor is bringing here with his pet High Speed Rail Project.  Those are real jobs, aren’t they?

As long as Mr McDonnell doesn’t stutter, stammer, ah, ah, ah, or stumble over simple words, he should…ah, you know…... be able to one-up Obama.
