Poll shows Obama popularity slippage in Va.
A new poll shows President Barack Obama's popularity in Virginia has slipped below 50 percent.
The Public Policy poll of 617 likely general election voters showed Obama with a 48 percent approval rating, which is within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.
The survey showed 46 percent disapproval and 6 percent not sure.
The opinion is highly polarized, the poll shows, with 95 percent of Democrats but only 9 percent of Republicans viewing him favorably. Fifty-two percent of independents disapprove of his performance with only 38 percent approving.
The poll was taken June 30 through July 2.

Godfather, no fool here, I never mentioned in my quote an empiral study; I quoted what a research poll found to be true in regards to FAUX News.
Reading comprehension is fundamental to understanding, so before you state your attempt at an insult to demean a poster with a differing opinion than yours read and understand or you will be the fool.
My, my I think you are one of the most narcissistic poster I’ve seen in a long while. You seem to have set yourself up to control the content and tone of the posts and anyone who doesn’t follow your instructions is a fool? I think it’s you who needs to work on reading and listening comprehension and the fundamentals of our constitution and bill of rights and put less emphasis on the brainwashing you are receiving from NBC, MSNBC, CBS, PBS and of course David Letterman.

I disagree with pretty much all of your examples.
Stem cell reasearch no longer requires fetal material and the fact that it was ever prohibited is incredible. It saves lives and cures incurable diseases including paralysis.
Universal Health care isn’t going to happen any time soon and when it does, the insurers will get their way.
ACORN… ACORN is a low rent voter registration group, not a policy. What is the fascination with them? What did they do that has Fox News telling its drones to be upset? Did ACORN steal the election?
Gitmo is still open and Obama has already stated his intention to hold prisoners indefinitely, without charge. No change here.
Russia? You’ll have to be more specific.
Iraq? We’re still there, no sign of leaving, still spending BILLIONS AND BILLIONS and now we’re increasing troops in Afghanistan.
Tax cuts? Tax increases? On who? If you are talking about the fact that the maximum bracket changed 2%, then we are argueing semantics. No change.
Obama is a black Bush. We’re still at war, we’re still lying about it, we’re still protecting those who lied to get it started in the first place.
We’re still wiretapping, we’re still torturing, we’re still giving billions in aid to Isreal, Pakistan and other nations of ill-repute, we’re still pretending like a gang of cave-dwelling hicks perpetrated 9/11 and has the will and capability to attack us again.
Gay rights still haven’t happened, guantanamo is still open, habeas corpus is still suspended, we still have covert ops programs functioning in Iran, we still hold hands and kiss the rings of the Saudis, we still can’t get a look at the president’s visitor’s log, we’re still giving billions to corporate thieves and we STILL can’t win a soccer championship.
NO CHANGE… Republicans should love Obama like the loved their former King.
And by the way here are a few poll numbers for you from nation wide:
Only 34% of Americans surveyed by Gallup had a favorable opinion of the GOP. President Obama nationally is at 58%. Hmmm, I’ll take 58% over 34% anytime.

And Carolyn H, I seriously doubt you need to worry about the “socialist” label that FAUX News and Republicans have tried to pin on President Obama. Currently 0.0507% of the value of American companies are owned by the U.S. government. If you try to put that in excel it just reverts to 0.00%. True socialists would call President Obama a really, really lousy Socialist.

There are a lot of differences (some of the above are Bush, some Obama), but your point is taken. There are too many similarities. It is not policy difference per se, but the magnitude of them.

No, there has never been any empiral study about Fox NEWS (note the emphasis) and bias that proved your point. Lots of rantings by left wing lunatics, but no hard studies. for one good reason. Fox NEWS is not the boogey man that leftists want to make it. It is not left, so they have to swear it is biased. Because they have no clue about unbiased news sources in the age of Government Run Media.
Best check the reliability of your sources before making a fool of yourself.

I feel sorry for you. Life is too short to be consumed by so much paranoia and hate. You will hopefully find out at the end, that making up conspiracies - when clearly there is nothing to even worry about - is just a waste of time and effort. No one can tell you that. Hopefully life will teach you that before it is too late.
But I kind of doubt it.
Of course the polls are slipping…there is only so much a “community activist” can do when he happens to win the office of the Presidency.
Obama’s administration is tackling too many issues (not that there aren’t a lot of issues) - and I really don’t think their admin. “team” is all what they said it was…inexperience breeds problems…I wish him all the good fortune in the world, but I (in my opinion) think we really screwed up in electing this guy
