Former President Clinton to campaign for Deeds
Former President Bill Clinton will journey to Virginia Tuesday to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds, his campaign staff said today.
Clinton, who previously came to Virginia to campaign for friend and former Democratic primary candidate Terry McAuliffe, is scheduled to campaign with Deeds in Northern Virginia in either Arlington or Alexandria, according to the campaign.
Deeds today will appear with Clinton’s former vice president, Al Gore, at a fundraiser in Northern Virginia.
Despite a healthy fundraising quarter, Deeds trails Republican Bob McDonnell in cash on hand going into the final three weeks before the Nov. 3 election.

What does it say about the credibility of R. Creigh Deeds when he needs the support of the “Messiah” and Bubba? Channeling Gerald Baliles is something we don’t need when the great Commonwealth continues to have multi-billion dollar shortfalls. We don’t need another governor to skyrocket taxes and user fees.
