Teams have just 48 hours to make a film this weekend
Local filmmakers are competing this weekend in the 48 Hour Film Project. Teams have that amount of time to write, shoot, edit and produce a film. The clock started at 7 p.m. yesterday after teams drew their film genres out of a hat. In addition, they learned the character, prop and line of dialogue that must appear in each film. Completed films have to be dropped off at The Camel, 1621 West Broad St., at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. The films have their world premieres July 25 at the Byrd Theatre, at screenings at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 4 p.m.
