John Marshall Showcase boys: No. 3 Huguenot 72, Armstrong 61
David Brown scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and had six assists and three steals as Huguenot defeated Armstrong 72-61 in the John Marshall Showcase. Jonathan Crawley recorded 15 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks, and Keith Crawford and Trevor Williamson added 10 points apiece for the third-ranked Falcons. Zack Benjamin had 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Wildcats, and Quinton Christian (19) and Xavier Gary (10) also scored in double figures.

John Marshall Showcase boys: No. 6 John Marshall 92, No. 3 Huguenot 70
The John Marshall High School Justices, ranked sixth in the Times-Dispatch Top 10 boys basketball poll, pounded third-ranked Huguenot High 92-70 tonight. Playing before a raucous packed house at John Marshall, Travis McKie led the Justices with a career-high 37 points and seven rebounds. Senior Randall Braxton pulled down 10 rebounds and point guard Randall Ward dished out eight assists for John Marshall.
