Chesterfield County Fair begins run Aug. 28
Starting to get blue because the lazy days of summer are about to turn into the work-everyday routine of fall? The 96th Chesterfield County Fair might be just what you need to turn that frown upside down. Tomorrow through Sept. 5, central Virginians can drive just a few miles to do some one-stop shopping for an Elvis impersonator, racing pigs, a beauty contest, barrel trail rides, clowns, magic shows, funnel cakes, ribbon fries, a watermelon-seed spitting contest and so much more.
