Sports groups oppose higher school facilities fees
Art Carson told the Hanover County School Board that if it approves higher fees to use school facilities, his operating costs for the Hanover Youth Basketball League could rise by tens of thousands of dollars. Carson, president of the league, told the board last week that higher costs could trigger an increase in registration fees from $95 to as much as $175 per child.
