Richmond police investigate death of man Richmond police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found yesterday afternoon in a parked car near 32nd and Marshall streets. Police are investigating the death of a 28-year-old Richmond man who was found Monday night under the Manchester Bridge. The body of Michael S. Johnson was discovered about 7:45 p.m. in the easement between the bridge and 901 E. Byrd St., said city police spokeswoman Karla Peters. His body showed no signs of trauma, she added. Johnson had been reported missing by his family on Sunday. He was last seen about 10 p.m. Saturday in the parking deck near the BlackFinn Restaurant & Saloon by the Canal Walk, Peters said. He had been out drinking with friends.
