Woman gets 6 months for embezzling from hospital
A veteran hospital system employee and manager will serve almost as much time in jail as she did embezzling from the Bon Secours Richmond Health System. Jeanne Miles Martin, 42, who had risen in 19 years of work to manager of the system’s patient account refund department, was taken from a Henrico Circuit courtroom yesterday in handcuffs to serve a six-month jail sentence.

Former Richmond JetBlue manager guilty of embezzlement
The former manager of JetBlue Airways terminal operations in Richmond pleaded guilty today to theft-related charges involving more than $300,000. Carol Davidson, 43, occasionally dabbed tears from her eyes during an hourlong hearing in Henrico Circuit Court as family members sat nearby for support. Circuit Judge Gary A. Hicks ordered that the mother of two be held until her sentencing July 14.

Former JetBlue manager indicted in Henrico
The former manager of JetBlue Airways in Richmond swindled the low-cost flyer for as much as $250,000, according to indictments returned by a Henrico County grand jury. Carol Davidson, 43, a former elementary school teacher, is facing a March 25 trial on multiple embezzlement and forgery counts. Davidson was released on bond this week.
