Even though the Deep Run girls volleyball team won the first two games against Mills Godwin last week, no one was surprised the match wound up going five games. Deep Run won 16-14 in the fifth. The Eagles won the district final; the Wildcats won the region title and went on to win a second straight state Group AAA crown.
