Boston University graduates students from Richmond area  07/02/09 12:27 PM

Several students from the Richmond area were among the 5,863 students Boston University awarded academic degrees to in May. They are: Allison S. Hartnett of Midlothian, bachelor of arts degree in history and religion, summa cum laude. Carey C. Archer of Richmond, bachelor of arts in marine science. Sarah E. Arenstein of Richmond, bachelor of science in communication.

H-SC announces graduates from Richmond area  05/15/09 11:58 AM

Students with ties to the local community were among the 216 men who graduated May 10 at commencement exercises marking the end of the 234th academic year at Hampden-Sydney College. Joseph Philip Andriano graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and French. He is a graduate of St. Christopher’s School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Andriano of Midlothian.

Six Virginians among Peace College graduates  05/15/09 9:47 AM

Peace College in Raleigh, N.C., in its 137th commencement ceremony, has conferred bachelor’s degrees to 113 women. Graduates received their diplomas in a ceremony May 9. Lauren Manns of Richmond, was the student speaker. Graduates from Virginia are: Alexandria: Penelope Emma Catherine Mickens, political science. August 2008.

Two from Midlothian graduate from Texas Christian  02/02/09 11:03 AM

Two students from Midlothian recently completed degree requirements at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Thomas Calder of Midlothian graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree and a major in biology. Stephanie Jones, who majored in communication studies, received a master of science degree. More than 800 graduates were honored Dec. 20 at commencement exercises in Daniel Meyer Coliseum on the TCU campus.
