John Randolph Foundation awards $305,000 in health-related grants  07/26/09 12:01 AM

The John Randolph Foundation has awarded $305,000 to 18 nonprofit organizations working on health and quality of life issues in Hopewell and the surrounding areas. Grants for health care, mental health, mental retardation, prevention or wellness went to:

  • Hopewell Emergency Crew, $26,000 to help purchase two Physio-Control LifePak 12 cardiac monitors and defibrillators.

Randolph Foundation awards grants  02/08/09 12:01 AM

The John Randolph Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $436,500 to nonprofits working to better the lives of all residents in Hopewell and surrounding areas. “We’re excited to do that in these economic times,“ said Josie Craighead-Bailey, the foundation’s grant program officer. “Our board has consistently considered programs and projects that improve the health and quality of life of our community to be a main priority,“ she said.
