The Lions were led by Anthony Hunter’s three touchdowns as they improved to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the Jefferson District. Dustin Plummer totaled 233 rushing yards on eight carries, and he opened the game’s scoring with a 72-yard sprint to lead Goochland (2-1, 5-1) to a Jefferson District win. Matthew Henley posted was completed 7 of 7 passes for 102 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs. Goochland tallied 356 rushing yards on 30 carries. C.J. Page led Monticello (1-2, 2-4) with 188 yards on 27 carries and two TDs.

Kennard Pryor had 15 carries for 150 yards, and ran for a 2-yard touchdown for the Falcons (1-0). Devon Peoples made six carries for 43 yards, ran for a 12-yard score and a 3-yard extra point. Quinton Watson (23-yard run) and Trevor Williamson (2-yard run) each added a score for Huguenot.
