Recruits’ big day less than meets eye
Three hats sat on the table, and unbeknown to the audience, a telltale T-shirt was hidden under the zippered sweatshirt. Morgan Moses, 6-7 and 330 pounds, sat in the front of the room with his parents. The Meadowbrook Monarchs drum line, complete with a cymbals player, was stationed in the back of the room. Moses’ football teammates and friends filled the chairs in the lecture room at MeadowbrookHigh School.

Meadowbrook’s Moses signs with Virginia
Meadowbrook’s giant tackle Morgan Moses (6-7, 345) waited until national signing day to announce he will attend the University of Virginia. It’s a big Parade: Moses honored
Amid all-star showcase games, the grind of the recruiting process and ordinary school days, another honor has come to Meadowbrook High School offensive tackle Morgan Moses. Moses, whose height (6-7 or 6-8) and weight (340 to 347) fluctuates according to which recruiting service or chart you happen to be viewing, is a Parade All-American.

High school notes: Collegiate’s Meeks passes two milestones
The winter sports seasons have been good for Collegiate’s Dominique Meeks. A multitalented, 5-9 senior, Meeks scored the 1,000th point of her varsity basketball career in Collegiate’s 52-50 League of Independent Schools victory over St. Gertrude on Monday night.
