Mt. Pisgah United Methodist gets new pastor, youth leader
Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, 1100 Mt. Pisgah Drive in Midlothian, welcomes a new pastor and a new youth director at services tomorrow. Steven Frederick Plymale, the new pastor, previously served churches in Parkersburg, W.Va., as well as in Shenandoah, Richmond and Newport News. He graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., received his master of divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill., and earned his doctorate from Northwestern University.

Charities help give thanks
More than 200 volunteers from Mount Pisgah, Garden of Gethsemane and Open Door Baptist Church spent yesterday assembling 42,000 fortified rice-soy meals for the Raleigh, N.C.-based organization that provides international food aid.
