NFL notes: Injuries concern Steelers more than loss  11/24/09 12:01 AM

PITTSBURGH - Falling to the lowly Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime Sunday was bad enough. But the real concern for the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers were the losses within the loss. Starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger couldn’t finish after a knee to his head in overtime left him with a possible concussion. He underwent tests yesterday, but the team didn’t immediately update his condition and his status for Sunday night’s crucial AFC North showdown at Baltimore might not be known until later in the week.
