Ohio State edges Michigan State
TOP 25 NO. 9 OHIO STATE 74, NO. 11 MICHIGAN STATE 67: Evan Turner scored 20 points, and Ohio State earned a Big Ten win over host Michigan State. William Buford had 17 points for the Buckeyes (11-4, 21-7), who pulled into a second-place tie with Michigan State in the conference. Both teams trail Purdue by a half-game. Durrell Summers scored 16 points for Michigan State (11-4, 21-7), which trailed by 14 points early in the second half. NO. 14 WISCONSIN 70, NORTHWESTERN 63: Jon Leuer’s blocked shot with 11 seconds remaining helped Wisconsin (10-5, 20-7) escape with a Big Ten victory over visiting Northwestern (6-9, 17-10).
