FARMVILLE—A Pamplin man who officers said killed his wife and a man in the parking lot of a Prince Edward County nightclub before shooting himself remained in critical but stable condition yesterday. Sheila Anderson Carter, 46, and Mandel Brandon Jones, 35, of Dillwyn were pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds early Monday morning, said Prince Edward County Sheriff Travis Harris Jr.
