The Monday morning meeting of Virginia Tech’s offensive players and coaches proceeded as usual last week. Coordinator Bryan Stinespring stood at the front of the room, talking about several plays from the previous Saturday’s game against Nebraska that flashed across a projection screen.

New Kent’s Dont’a Taylor, a senior wrestler in the 189-pound class, likes to use himself as an example for freshmen. Taylor won six matches his freshman year. With a knowing smile, he admits that might include a few forfeits.

There, a 20-minute video, written by Annie Leonard, reveals hidden facts about product production and how items are disposed of. During production, often environmental, health, and social problems arise.

Dyer J. Taylor, retired judge, dies  11/23/08 12:01 AM

In 1942 after the United States had entered World War II, Dyer Justice “Dick” Taylor was weeks away from graduation as a Navy pilot in Corpus Christi, Texas. One day while he was flying in formation, someone clipped his plane’s wing, said a daughter, Janet Savia of Fredericksburg. His plane plummeted and burned. Struggling to escape the conflagration, he got caught in the door of his plane and caught fire.
