Trinity falls to Squires
Denzel Wilson scored all seven Squires touchdowns to lead Blue Ridgepast Trinity Episcopal 49-29 yesterday. Quarterback Will White was 24 of 46 for 244 yards for the Titans with three touchdown completions, including a 29-yarder to Sam Johnson. Trinity (0-2 Old Dominion, 1-5) tried to hold a hard-earned lead in the third quarter but Wilson had other ideas. Wilson went on a tear, scoring three unanswered touchdowns to seal the victory for the Squires (1-0, 2-2).
