CHARLOTTESVILLE—The Dave Leitao era at the University of Virginia ended abruptly yesterday, little more than two years after he was named ACC men’s basketball coach of the year.

Virginia Commonwealth will travel to the University of Nevada to play its ESPNU BracketBusters matchup on Feb. 20. The game will be played in Reno and televised on one of ESPN’s networks: ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN360. The network and time will be announced next Monday. VCU is 16-6. Nevada, a member of the Western Athletic Conference, is 13-8.
