Aerosmith has postponed its Sunday show at Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater because of an unspecified “artist injury.“ The band, on tour this summer with ZZ Top, also postponed last night’s show in Cincinnati and tonight’s gig at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania. A rescheduled date is expected to be announced soon. Previously purchased tickets will be honored.

The recording industry might still be hemorrhaging because of Internet piracy. But so far, no one has figured out a way to duplicate the experience of a live concert for free, so the concert industry has remained surprisingly healthy. People might be cutting back on travel and fancy dinners, but the allure of seeing a favorite musician live is apparently an indulgence millions are still taking.
