BLACKSBURG -- Chante Black had 13 points and 14 rebounds as No. 4 Duke overcame a dramatic comeback attempt by Virginia Tech and hung on for a 57-52 victory tonight.

Duke (15-1, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) won their 13th straight game despite turning the ball over 28 times and allowing a late 9-0 run by the Hokies to pull them to 53-50 with 1:03 to play. But Karima Christmas hit both ends of a 1-and-1 with 22.7 seconds to play to push the lead back to five and the Blue Devils barely held on.

The Hokies (8-8, 0-3) lost for the sixth time in their last eight games. It was the ninth straight time that Duke has beaten Tech.
