BOULDER, Colo. -- Tyler Hansen wanted to prove that he should have been Colorado's starting quarterback all along. He sure showed he deserves to be the Buffaloes' main man from here on out.

Hansen, who replaced Cody Hawkins -- the coach's son -- in the starting lineup, ran for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to lead Colorado to a 34-30 upset of No. 17 Kansas on Saturday night.

Providing a spark through the air and on the ground, Hansen threw for 175 yards and ran for 34 yards. Colorado (1-1 Big 12, 2-4) handed Todd Reesing and the Jayhawks (1-1, 5-1) their first loss.

No. 2 Alabama 20, No. 22 S. Carolina 6

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Mark Ingram rushed for a career-high 246 yards and a game-clinching touchdown, powering Alabama over South Carolina.

Ingram's tackle-breaking, defender-dragging runs and a punishing defense helped the Crimson Tide (4-0 SEC, 7-0) overcome four turnovers -- doubling their season total. It also helped 'Bama avoid the scares No. 1 Florida and No. 3 Texas had -- or an upset defeat like the one hung on No. 4 Virginia Tech.

No. 16 Oklahoma St. 33 Missouri 17

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Hubert Anyiam filled in for ineligible All-American Dez Bryant with 10 catches, a career-high 119 yards and the go-ahead touchdown as Oklahoma State beat Missouri.

Zac Robinson threw for 227 yards and Lucien Antoine added an interception return for a touchdown as the Cowboys (2-0 Big 12, 5-1) snapped a four-game losing streak on their home field against the Tigers (0-2, 4-2).

No. 24 Utah 35 UNLV 15

LAS VEGAS -- The Utah Utes were much happier with the victory than how they got it.

Terrance Cain threw two touchdown passes and rushed for another score to lead Utah over UNLV, the 600th victory in school history.

Eddie Wide rushed for 111 yards on 17 carries, including a 37-yard touchdown run. Wide's TD run down the right side gave the Utes (2-0 Mountain West Conference, 5-1) a 20-point lead with 12:55 left in the fourth quarter.

No. 9 Miami 27 Central Florida 7

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Jacory Harris completed 20 of 26 passes for 293 yards and a touchdown, Javarris James rushed for another score on the way to topping the 2,000-yard mark for his career, and Miami pulled away to beat Central Florida.

Damien Berry added a fourth-quarter touchdown run for the Hurricanes (5-1), who matched their best start since 2005.

UCF's top rusher, Brynn Harvey, was held to 25 yards on 12 carries.
