-- Football coach Mike London led the Spiders to a national title in his first year in charge.

University of Richmond football coach Mike London says he has no plans to speak with representatives of Boston College about that school's need for a football coach.

"I haven't been contacted by them," London said in a recent interview. "I've been focused on recruiting this great class we have coming in to Richmond."

London led the Spiders to the 2008 Football Championship Subdivision title. London, a former Boston College assistant, has been viewed as a possible candidate for the BC position since Jeff Jagodzinski was fired Wednesday.
