Although I am a VCU Alumnus and we don’t have a football team YET, I have to say congratulations to the Spiders. That championship does a lot for our community. Thanks for putting Richmond in the national spotlight!
Many locals with overlook this accomplishment as usual, but this is HUGE for our community. You wouldn’t think the little campus tucked away off of Three Chopt Road would produce a football national championship. Great job to all involved and I enjoyed watching the playoff games on TV.
Congratulations Spiders!! I’m not a huge fan but it was a real pleasure watching you tonight. This is great for The Commonwealth!
Can’t get any better than that Spiders. Congratulations to Mike London and way to go UR! Eric Ward’s TD reception put the Griz on their heels for 30 minutes and then the Spiders held on tight. The CAA is officially the top FCS conference (man, I-A still sounds better).
