Tribe’s Webb receives national honor
William and Mary redshirt freshman cornerback B.W. Webb was selected as the national defensive player of the week by the Sports Network for three interceptions in the Tribe's 26-14 victory over Virginia on Saturday.
Webb returned his last interception 50 yards for a fourth-quarter score that sealed the Tribe's win.
He also was chosen as a national all-star by College Sporting News and the CAA defensive player of the week.
