Scholar-Athlete Award
Deadline for nominations for the Scholar-Athlete award for September is Oct. 8.
The award, sponsored by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and the Richmond Sports Backers, goes each month to one male and one female from high schools in the metropolitan Richmond area.
Grade levels 9, 10, 11 and 12 are eligible for the award.
Nominations must be made by the school's athletic director or the athlete's coach and should be based upon the following criteria:
