Boys: Amelia Academy 83, Richmond Christian 51

Juan Carlos Urbina filled the statsheet with 24 points, 14 rebounds, seven steals and three blocks to lead the fourth-seeded Patriots to a rout of the fifth-seeded Knights in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference quarterfinals.

Toby Hutton chipped in with 23 points and Rick Benson added 14 for Amelia Academy, who took a nine-point lead after the first quarter and weren't threatened again.

Dale Langford paced Richmond Christian with 15 points.

Amelia Academy will face either Kenston Forest or Tidewater Academy in the semifinals at 6:30 Friday at Richard Bland College.
