Boys: Essex 75, Washington and Lee 60

John Dille scored 26 of his 29 points in the second half, 15 of which came in the third quarter, and Essex rolled past Washington and Lee 75-60 to win the district title for the second straight year. Jeremy Sayles finished with 17 points, five assists, and went 8 for 8 on free throws, and Chuck Samuel hit 16 points and eight rebounds for the Trojans.

Washington and Lee's D.J. Brooks scored all 23 of his points in the first three quarters.
