No. 3 Highland Springs advanced to the region semifinals for the seventh consecutive season as the Springers defeated Meadowbrook. Derrick Hopkins came off the bench to score 11 points, with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Natwan Young led the scoring effort with 17 points, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal. Xavier Parham scored 11 points, with three rebounds, five assists and four steals.

With a one point halftime lead, Highland Springs allowed only 21 second-half points to win by a substantial margin.

Andrew Simmons had 11 points for Meadowbrook.
