Girls: West Point 50, Mathews 46

Kiera Gaines scored 20 points to go along with six assists, and Courtney Bell had 20 points and pulled down 10 boards as West Point slipped past Mathews in the semifinals of the Group A, Region A, Division 1 tournament.

Paige Rowlett netted 11 points, and Kristen Medlin grabbed 10 rebounds for the Pointers.

West Point will face Franklin tomorrow night in the final at Surry.
