Shay Bentley
School: Manchester
Year: Senior
Position: Center/forward
Height: 5-9
The skinny: Can dominate the inside despite being undersized. She was named the Dominion District player of the year and set a single-season school scoring record with 544 points (21.8 average). She also contributed 12 rebounds and three assists a game. Was second-team All-Metro last year.
What you didn't know: I can play the piano and sing.

Michelle Foley
School: Mills Godwin
Year: Senior
Position: Guard/forward
Height: 5-10
The skinny: Capped a three-year run of success at Mills Godwin by being named Colonial District player of the year. She led the Eagles in scoring (15.2 ppg), rebounding (7.3), blocked shots (39) and charges taken (13). She also contributed 37 steals and 75 assists.
What you didn't know: I dislike all "High School Musicals."

Ka'lia Johnson
School: Thomas Dale
Year: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Height: 5-9
The skinny: A first-team All-Metro pick for the second consecutive year, Johnson is drawing considerably recruiting attention. She was named the Central District and Central Region player of the year. She averaged 17 points and led the Knights in rebounding.
What you didn't know: I eat Chipotle (burrito or burrito bowl and chips and guac) at least four times a week during the summer.

Becca Wann
School: Cosby
Year: Junior
Position: Guard/
forward
Height: 5-10
The skinny: Wann is the most versatile of the Titans. She can knock down 3-pointers and score inside, but doling out assists keeps everyone in the game. She averaged 8.3 assists and surpassed the 500 career assists mark. She also averaged 16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and four steals. Wann was a first-team All-Metro pick in soccer last spring.
What you didn't know: I have to sing Taylor Swift songs before every basketball game.
