Balanced scoring and great defense carried the Eagles past the ninth-ranked Crimson Wave in a non-district matchup.

Sierra Thomas, Quaneva Avent and Gabby Tyler all had 10 points and Greensville pulled away to 38-21 lead after three quarters.

Ashley Whitaker paced Petersburg with a game-high 14 points and Tiara France chipped in with 12.
