Group A, Division 2 semifinal: Floyd County 62, Lee 47
Defending state champion Floyd County opened a 16-point lead over Lee in the first half of the girls Group A, Division 2 semifinal at the Siegel Center and went on to win 62-47.
Floyd plays George Mason on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Siegel Center. The Buffaloes won the 2008 title over Lancaster and were the runners-up in 2007.
