Group A, Division 1 girls final: Buffalo Gap 50, Bland County 40

Defending state champion Buffalo Gap outscored Bland County by 12 points in the first period of the Group A, Division 1 girls title game en route to a 50-40 victory at the Siegel Center.

The Bears never recovered from the early deficit. Bland trailed by 20 points with four minutes remaining and cut the lead in half with a minute to play, but could get no closer.
