Region high school teams ready for state tournament play tonight

The top area high school teams in the state tournament will face Northern Virginia high schools in quarterfinal play tonight and tomorrow night.
Undefeated Petersburg takes on Hayfield in the Group AAA Boys Quarterfinals at 8:45 tonight at the Siegel Center. Richmond’s John Marshall High plays T.C. Williams at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Robinson High in Fairfax.
In the Group AAA Girls Quarterfinals, Chestefield County’s Cosby High plays T.C. Williams at 7 tonight at the Siegel Center, while Atlee of Hanover County plays Oakton at 6:15 p.m. tomorrow at Robinson High.
