Football: Atlee 33, Armstrong 8

C.J. Watkins rushed for 189 yards on 10 carries and set an Atlee school record for longest run from scrimmage with a 92-yard TD in the Raiders' Capital District road victory at Armstrong.

Watkins also scored on runs of 10 and 5 yards.

Quarterback Drew Ferguson threw a 13-yard TD pass to fellow quarterback Dylan Garthright and ran 2 yards for another score.

The Raiders, in the hunt for a Division 5 playoff berth, are 2-1 in the district and 5-2 overall.

Armstrong (0-3, 1-6) got a 22-yard TD pass from Xavia Gary to Dewayne Burnette.

Atlee linebacker Josh Doggett contributed 11 tackles, two assists and two sacks.
