Football: Central Virginia 37, Avalon 12

Jerome Wright and Chris Bullock scored two touchdowns each to lead Central Virginia to its seventh win of the season.

Bullock opened the scoring with a 45-yard run and added a 20-yard TD scamper. Wright's scores were from 19 and 17 yards. Manny McClure scored the other Disciples (7-1) TD, and Casey Stephens added a 23-yard field goal.

John Funk scored Avalon's first TD. The second came on Daniel Kline's 20-yard fumble return.
