Football: Hanover 34, Henrico 14

Sam Rogers had 15 rushes for 99 yards and a touchdown and tacked on another pair of scores on 82-yards passing as Hanover beat Henrico (1-5, 2-7) in a Central District matchup.

Rogers connected with Danny Trsic on TD passes of 6 and 17 yards, and Deane Cheatham punched in a 1-yard run for a score, and another from 4 yards out for the Hawks (3-2, 6-3).

Timone Brown (81 yards rushing, 22 passing) ran for two TDs for the Warriors, and Victor Ripley recorded 7 tackles, 1 for loss.
